Is there a way to stop the raffle from starting over when DeepBot closes?
-
Can you please describe the issue further?
-
If I start a raffle... whenever DeepBot gets closed out (computer restarts for example).. when I open DeepBot again the raffle has to be restarted. Everyone who previously entered is no longer entered after the restart.
-
I believe the raffle entrants are not saved to a text file or a database but instead in an internal variable. If Deepbot is restarted this variable gets restored to its initial state as if no one entered. This basically means entrants will not get carried over between Deepbot restarts.

So theres no way around it? Could it be a possible fix in the future?

Currently, I'm afraid there's no way around it. If you do continue to use Deepbot for raffles I would recommend holding the raffle at the end of the week, say Friday. Have a timed command saying that "Running a raffle on this date. So many points to enter per ticket. Come back for a chance to win blah blah". Apart from that though, that's about all I can say.
As far as adding the ability to carry raffle entries between restarts why not make a request in the Feature Request (http://deepbot.deep.sg/forums/index.php?board=7.0) forum? Experts tends to add features quicker based on community feedback I find.
Thanks,
