i just recently did the latest update but the music player is buggy. After a song plays and finishes, it doesnt go to the next song and i have to manually click next song.
-
Can you explain what steps you actually took to make this happen? It will help us to debug what is actually causing it, attempt to replicate it and and hopefully fix it
-
I'm having the same issue. Basically here are my steps:
1) Load offline playlist
2) Shuffle
3) Play
Music will stop after the first song and not proceeed to the next
I have noticed when loading the offline playlist all songs are grey (indicating they've already been played) which is leading me to believe deepbot is thinking the other songs in the list should not be played as they've expired. Rebooting deepbot or the system do not fix this issue.

the steps i do are the exact same as this. the only thing i can add is that if someone does !skipsong after its done playing, it goes to the next song without waiting for the required amount of votes.

Yes. I am having the same issues. Only plays one song and stops.

Adding one more to the list. Playlists will not continue after one song plays.
-

having the same issue.

Same problem here :'( :'(

Well that's a lot of you which are having the same problem. When I get home ill replicate it on my side and see if I can see exactly what is going wrong without looking at the code. At the same time ill alert Experts.
Thanks,

Guys - Have looked into this. This appears to be an issue with the YouTube flash player which has now stopped publishing the "finished playing" message on some browsers.
While they release a fix for this, you will need to use the external player to play the video's in a Chrome browser.
To do this, simply right click on the video player and select "Launch External Player" and then "Disable Player"
-
gg Flash Player
Thanks for the workaround tip, Experts!
-
I don't see a launcher external player/disable player option in the music section. Am I missing something?
-
So when i right click on the player and launch external player, it launches IE with the player window but it is blank and it does not play the video, how do i import my playlist into the external player?
-
Yeah the external player gets it to continue to the next song, but the player in the bot continues to play and sometimes they get out of sync. So you wind up with an echo.
-
Tacos: Simply right click on the internal player for options.
Steaming: Until YouTube fixes the issue I would recommend disabling the internal player from the right click menu.
-
It appears YouTube has fixed the issue and the internal player in now functional again.
