Title: Song request text file
Post by: Djarii on October 31, 2014, 08:42:21 PM
Hi.

I'm not sure if this has been posted elsewhere, in the instance that it has, I apologise for the repetition.

I absolutely love the song request feature, but I'm very keen on having the name of the song be written on my stream overlay. Are there any plans to create a text file from the song currently playing?

This already exists if you are using the music player in Deepbot. You can find the text file in the OBS folder where you installed Deepbot.

The files you are looking for are "YoutubeCurrentSong.txt" and "YoutubeCurrentSongRequestedBy.txt". As far as other media players though, there are various programs that are lightweight and do an incredibly good job. SMG (https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/smg-now-playing.12744/ (https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/smg-now-playing.12744/)) is a good example of one.

Thanks,
