Title: Custom User Join Messages
Post by: MuddUnders on January 18, 2015, 10:19:16 AM
I would like to give my subs and VIPs custom join messages. I go to User Database>right click their name>Custom Join Message "Message"

But when they join, there is no message.

I dont want any messages to be displayed to regular viewers, just VIPs

Why isnt this working?

Are you VIP? If not you must donate $5 a month for this feature.

VIP Features: http://deepbot.deep.sg/wiki/VIP+Streams&structure=Index&page_ref_id=14

If you are VIP, make sure you run the bot as admin, as well as save the custom join messages. And it's per user, but if there VIP runs out, their message will still be there.

Yes I am a VIP

I dont launch Deepbot specifically as an admin, but have never had any other functionality simply NOT work because of it. I definitely save the the message, as when I go back to the user database, the message is still there.

But it wont run the message when the user logs into the chat...

Did you enable join messages? Channel Commands>Event Messages>Join Message>Edit>Enabled

You can make it to where only VIPs are greeted and only when they type something would it greet them.
