Did you port forward? Running the bot as admin?
-
what if the popup just stays white and closes again without logging you in?

You need to run incognito mode (ctrl+shift+n) in google chrome.
-
Thank You this guide was on point. Got bot name changed without any issues.

Everything works well until I click My Account. The page is blank.

Open Google Chrome, press ctrl+shift+n, now you are in the inkognito mode. Open the page and log in, then go to your account.

I have tried that it is still not working :(
-
Using Google Chrome's Incognito mode? Ctrl+shift+n?
Make sure you are using your streamer login, not your bot login.
-
It's notworking for me bro.

I followed all the steps in this (including going into incognito mode in Google Chrome) to change my bot name from Mother__Brain to MotherBrainBot because apparently I need 'bot' in the name for obs chat to ignore it properly. I also waited 48 hours to make sure the changes weren't just waiting to take effect. It still isn't working.
Do I have to make a new twitch account called MotherBrainBot? Is my bot name already taken and I just didn't get notified? Or is there something wrong? I'd like to have my bot connected before Tuesday so I can manage a queue.
Thanks!
-
I can see you logged in successfully with the new bot name. Make sure you are logging in with your stream account on the page, not your bot login.

Yeah sure, you have to own the account on Twitch.

Looks like I really did need to create a new account after I changed my bot name. I didn't see it listed on the steps above so I didn't do it. That fixed everything. Thank you for the help MercurY3rd and RepentGamingTV!

Good afternoon. I seem to be having a problem with the name change. Did exactly as the instructions said (even going into incognito mode in Google Chrome), logged in with my stream name, changed the bot name, updated and updated the info in DeepBot. When the bot loads, it connects fine, but after a min or two it disconnects. I also noticed that the bot does not show up in the 'chat' tab now as it did before. Thanks..

Did you redo the OAuth Password for both Streamer/Bot Login?
Running deepbot as admin?
Try changing ports/servers on the config tab > Bot Login?
-
@RepentGamingTV - Thanks for the quick reply. I just did the OAuth on both accts. The streamer account it took fine, but the bot account keeps coming up with an incorrect account login ... even though I know I am using the correct password (I logged into the bots twitch channel with the username/password I've been using). Hope this helps. Thanks..
--- Update ---
Restarted the bot and still the same problem. disconnecting after a min or two. I've changed server and ports also.

Okay so you can't login to the Bot from deepbot? Try going into your streamer account, old bot account, and new bot account, then go to options/settings on twitch.tv > Connections > Remove deepbot connections.
Also, make sure your anti-virus is disabled or add deepbot as an exception to the anti-virus.
This is what I see for you logging in:

No go. I even tried after changing the bot's password.
When you say 'new bot account' , did I need to create a new bot twitch account with the new name? Thanks..

Ya, if you want a new bot name, you have to create the twitch account for it.

Thanks for the info... After creating a new acct, deleting the authorization, re-verifying the accounts, its back up. Thanks for the help...

The link doesn't work for me. Just time's out. :(
Try this link: http://deepbot.deep.sg/dev/donationaccess/#Home
If it doesn't work, then do the following:
1. Close Deepbot and Flush your DNS. Guide on this: https://www.whatsmydns.net/flush-dns.html
2. Try adding Deepbot.tv to your hosts file. Please follow this guide and add the following: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/27350/beginner-geek-how-to-edit-your-hosts-file/

The new link worked but the popup keeps timing out. I would normally think this is something on my end but my connection seems to be working just fine otherwise. I will try the other things you mentioned later and get back to you. Thanks for the help.

Use Google Chrome's Incognito Mode when using the url.
-
I was using incognito and getting the timeouts.
However, I did the flush dns thing AND the hosts file add and now it works. I can't say for sure which was the silver bullet, but doing both certainly did the trick!
Thanks! :D

Hi, tried changing my bot name. Restarted deepbot and then when I click connect I get 'an error occurred when trying to generate your OAuth with twitch'. I try to regenerate by logging in with my twitch user and password and it comes up with incorrect login, please login to the twitch bot account. What does this mean?
-
You need to login with your bot name. You have two logins to do on the config tab, one for your stream twitch account, and the other for the bot's twitch account.
-
Thank you so much that helped! :)
