Title: Two different computers, same channel - same deepbot?
Post by: Tibaltius on May 23, 2015, 09:40:32 PM
Hey guys, me and my gf stream to the same channel and I want it to be that we can both login to the same deepbot, but I am not sure how or where all the user database is kept? Is it stored online or on my computer? Could we use the same deepbot but from two different computers?

Sorry if my question makes no sense.

Thanks.

Hi there, should be possible. All your seetings and users are saved in your "data" folder in your Deepbot installation. So what you need is a program that keeps this data folder in sync on both Pcs.

Yeah I've looked around and as I can't make deepbot look at the data file anywhere else, the only option would be to instal deepbot on the dropbox. I think that would work but a bit annoying.

Why not just rename the data folder when one streams, then switch it when the other streams? So you have two data folders in your deepbot, you just rename one to like data2, and switch.
