Title: Rank-up Custom Sounds! And Alert!

Is it possible to have a custom sound when a viewer goes up in ranking? I have has a heap of people asking me if I could add something like this to the stream.

So for example one of my viewers is in Novice rank, they then rank up to apprentice and get a little sound in my stream that plays automatically and a little "Rank Up" animation or image shows up in stream somewhere small down low.

Is this something that could be added as it would give the viewers a more interacting feeling and something to look forward to.

The only problem I can see with this, is the spam if multiple people rank up at the same time.

I manually created this previously using IRC bot and scripting.

Basically upon the !<currency> check to see when a users points and evaluate if a rank up was possible.  I had a

splay rank13.mp3 or if going to rank 14 then it would

Code: [Select]

splay rank14.mp3.  So the delay that would apply to it would be the same as how often the user can use the command.  Though this could get very busy if you have a stream with 2000 viewers in it.  I suppose that is what the delays are for.

That seems to look goiod, but how do we implement this into the bot? And with this being added we as streamers would use common sense and use a simple small audio sound, something that wouldn't spam or upset the stream. Just a tiny ding is enough.

I really would love this to go ahead!

This would be awesome especially with a popup notification prompting who ranked up and what rank they are now!

It is possible by default. I remember a user had something, well announcements of rank ups, but a sound file can be added easily.

The link before isn't how to do it. There is no tutorial on it.
