Title: Not able to connect

For some reason, my deepbot (atbbot - which has been running properly for a while) is unable to connect. I've tried re-authenticating with Twitch and it still doesn't stay connected. Is there something going on or wrong? I haven't changed anything on my end.

Post by: Bwana on June 05, 2015, 07:26:59 AM: Tried port 443, and 6667 but got the message that 6667 is not reliable,etc so went back to 80. Running as admin does the same thing... temporarily connects and then disconnects.

I'll try rebooting and see if that magically fixes things.

RepentGamingTV, this same thing has happened to me. You showed me how my bot was supposedly connecting, but on my screen it just constantly says "connecting…".

Post by: emrerocky on June 05, 2015, 08:37:42 AM: Twitch is currently having some problems with their servers. There is nothing that we can do but wait for them to resolve it. I would recommend using the port "80", as it seems the problem is on a server using the port "443".

Have you tried this:

If you are having trouble connecting, please specify a sever other than 192.16.64.145, or try using port 6667 instead.

I came to the forums to look for help because i had the same issue! Read guys. Repents message fixes it!!! Switched to another IP and insta connect

Post by: deviousst on June 07, 2015, 02:37:43 AM: been connected to server - irc.twitch.tv on port 80 and its been fine then kept dropping connection every 30 secs.. so far its been ok for the past 10 mins but its a pain when streaming and trying to do a giveaway :(
