Title: YouTube player looses settings
Post by: Badzilla on September 29, 2015, 02:11:24 AM
The YouTube player always reverts to 240p for the next video even if I pop out to external player. How can I keep this set at 720p?

The video player is so small that anything above 240p would just be wasted performance.  It doesn't affect the sound quality, only the video.

Thanks for the response but that didn't really answer my question. Player works fine for me but video quality sucks if you want a window larger than a postage stamp.

There is no way to keep this setting currently.

This is not correct, there very much is a noticeable difference between 240p audio and 720p/1080p audio.
Having a way to mimic YouTube's auto quality selection would be greatly appreciated. I'm not entirely sure how they do this but I would assume it's based on cookies.
