I don't know why deepbot has gone this long without it, but why is there not a response saying the user was entered? For a big stream people could honestly feel cheated unless the bot says they were entered.

Individual replies create spam and block the bot from any other commands. Twitch only allows bots to send messages once every 2-3 seconds.
If 600 people enter a raffle, and the bot was to respond to each of them, it would take the bot 20 minutes during which any other command would seem to not work.
Most interactions with the bot are aimed to limit responses for this reason.

So what about this simple strategy?
A. A cumulative response given every 10th or 20th time the command is used -> 10 people have entered/20 people have entered
B. Having it toggle depending on how many viewers are in the chat.

you could do it like more are using the !points command the bot says xxx has xxx points and xxx1 has xxx points
for example: xxx, xxx1, xxx2, xxx3 entered the raffle or so
