no chat showing up, nothing in Stream chat, on the About tab, no update info list, and Music not working
I closed it last night and got on today and it is not working. No errors. I have switched ports, running as admin, close and restarted. Still not working.
(I can see the bot msgs on the twitch page, just not in the bot chat)
-
I went to your Twitter page, click on deepbot.tv and got this:
Hmm, we can't reach this page.
Try this
Make sure you've the right URL http://deepbot.tv
Refresh the page
Search for what you want
I tried to do a search and and I can not even access it that way either. What happened?
-
With DeepBot closed, try doing this and trying again: https://www.whatsmydns.net/flush-dns.html
-
It is also causing me to drop frame rate with OB; I tried the link and flushed DNS
now the bot does not work at all. it crashed and then crashed my system
"An error occurred when trying to login in to DeepBot servers. Please ensure your connection is not being blocked by anti-virus software or firewall." then after I click OK it goes to "Oops! I have crashed. saving crash log to errorlog.txt. Please send this to expertsonline providing any additional information on the crash. "
I have not changed a thing except run the fix YOU suggested in the link YOU provided. I even tried on my back up copy it wont work.
I will get this in a moment.
here is the error log:

- Run deepbot as admin
- Try removing deepbot connections from twitch. (Twitch.tv > Options/Settings > Connections Tab > Remove Deepbot.tv and Test.Deepbot.tv
- Redo OAuth Logins as well on the bot itself, both Streamer/Bot Login
If it still doesn't work, let me know.
-
Please do ping deepbot.tv in your command prompt and message me what IP it says.
-
Your ISP hasn't updated the IP of Deepbot.tv yet, so flushing your DNS won't load the new one. You will have to manually update it. Please follow this guide and add the following: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/27350/beginner-geek-how-to-edit-your-hosts-file/
198.252.108.9 deepbot.tv
-
NOPE. did not work
-
Can you post the contents of the file here?
-
I think I got it. I had a # sign infront of the IP address. SO far it is working. Thank you.
-
Yeah, having a # at the beginning makes the computer ignore it. Glad we got it working!
