Title: Deepbot is already running and won't close
Post by: Sekseh on October 10, 2015, 07:19:10 AM
Hello all, I've been using deepbot since about March of this year and have had no problems. Just a couple days ago I've been receiving this error whenever I try to open up Deepbot for the first time after each restart. I've checked Task manager and there is no process, but under the details tab in Task Manager I see the process. Once I try to close it, it gives me an "access denied" error.. not enough permissions. I've tried to use the updater in the main folder and that doesn't work either, gives me strange error messages... I can post pics if you'd like. Regardless this just happened to me recently and I'm completely stuck.. I really would not want to uninstall everything unless I know I can back up all my user data and quote/channel commands. Is there a way to fix this issue easily or are we going to have to do brain surgery on this thing.

3. Go To your deepbot folder (by default: C:\DeepBot - Twitch Streamer Assistant ) > Find Deepbot.exe > Right Click > Properties. On General Tab, Unblock application if it is an option. Then on Security Tab Click on edit > Go thru each user and make sure "Full Control" is checked for all accounts/users > Hit apply > Okay. Then Start up deepbot. (Refer to images down below.)

Well you can uninstall and reinstall, your data folder stays behind, which contains all your settings/data. But you can back it up as well and reinstall.

Also try restarting your pc, or log off and back in.
