The last couple of nights while streaming we had some extreme fun in the chat because people were cracking up and writing very funny shit.

I thought about a new feature:

Command: !quote add <texttobequoted>

What does it do?

It adds the <texttobequoted> in a sequential textfile.

Command: !quote

What does it do?

It randomly picks one line from the sequential textfile and outputs it in chat. Maybe with the date the quote was put into the file.

I see this feature as a "fun" feature so people are encouraged to write funny stuff in the chat and if the streamer sees fit, he can add the line to the quote DB. This feature has an entertainment value. Maybe the viewers could even !quote vote for a certain sentence to be selected for making it in the DB. If somebodys line makes it into the DB the streamer can hand out some <currency> as some kind of ackowledgement.

That's the basic idea.

Sounds like some kind of entertaining stuff for the viewers, yes. Feel free to elaborate on some examples :D I would give it a +1 possibly :)

I actually REALLY want this. My channel has some of the weirdest shit ever said, and I think it'd be amazing to have a gigantic list of random stuff like that.

Cool feature :)

We already got this "thing" going on our channel since way back. Where when some golden quote or  thing being said that makes everyone die of laughter or the streamer super embarrassed we add it as a custom command :) So we got quite the bank of quotes now, that our viewers learn and take to heart so when something happens and a quote fits they type the command and the bot says it :D

I like the addition of the quote command :) might spice things up :)

Probably, it can be like this:

!quote / !quote <number> - Displays a random quote (Viewer)
!addquote <message> - adds a quote (Moderator)
!editquote <id> <message> - Allows you to edit a specific quote (Moderator)
!delquote <id> - Removes a quote (Moderator)
