Title: Top/Last Cheer text files not displaying correctly
Post by: snowlit on August 27, 2016, 02:28:51 PM
The text files for Top/Last Cheer displays incorrectly - this is what I entered under the Master Settings for the text file to display:

@user@: @amount@ bits

On tonight's stream, I had someone cheer 1500 bits, and the display text ended up being:

@user@: 1500 bits

Both the Top Cheer and Last Cheer text files have this same issue. Would love a fix ASAP, since I need this for my overlay.

Thank you!

I don't know if @user@ was to be used in that part of the text, but seems like it's something that needs to be added and/or fixed.

I went off of what the default text was, which included the use of @user@, @amount@ and @message@. @user@ isn't working as intended.

Also, it seems the bot doesn't update the text file very often at all, which kinda sucks. Just tried to edit the display text and removed the colon ( : ), closed the Master Settings window, restarted Deepbot, and it still didn't update it on the preview on OBS. Might have to wait for TwitchAlerts to add cheers/bits label support, since this is so buggy/janky. :(

Thanks

The latest dev/alpha build (0.9.8.11) has fixed this issue. You can make a backup of your data folder and get the dev build using the DBUpdater.exe in the deepbot folder.
The public release will be this weekend.
