Title: Capture Youtube video
Post by: Princemurphy on April 25, 2014, 12:23:23 PM
I'm coming from nightbot and usually use window capture to capture the screen region of a youtube vide. If do this with the deepbot program, it displays whatever tab i click on. Is there a way to separate the youtube tab so i can capture it and only it? Is there another workaround that i haven't considered?

You can move the player into an external browser and capture that by launching http://deepbot.deep.sg/YouTubePlayerv3.html in the browser after launching DeepBot.

This player will be controlled by DeepBot and you can simply mute the internal player.

THIS!!! Only works on the computer running the bot correct? Can we get something like this, perhaps as a VIP service, so that we can use it from another computer? Because we host the bot on a server, external location. and stream from another location.

Thats the gold standard that is missing atm.

The youtube window in this browser doesn't allow me to choose HD quality. Is there a way to resolve that?

The songs are currently played at 240p to consume the lowest amount of bandwidth. An option to select a higher quality currently does not exist.
