Title: Why do my host alerts play through my speakers?
Post by: McDrunkard on August 25, 2017, 03:08:38 PM
My host alerts will play though my speakers when everything else is set to play through my headphones. I've been trying to get a solution for weeks but no one reads the streamer chat. This started about 2 updates ago. My stream, sounds, and everything else will play through my default playback device (headphones), but host alerts will come through my speakers.

So no problems with Follower/Donation/Sub sounds? I just want to confirm that.

Also, are you using deepbot for alerts? Or just for the host alert?

The only sound notification I use in DeepBot is the host alert. I use Streamlabs for everything else. I'm trying to reproduce it but it seems random or inconsistent.

Did you set the default audio device in the master settings?
