Title: Queue for streamers who play with viewers?
Post by: Wooddyy on June 05, 2014, 02:37:49 AM
Hello,

When i stream, I do viewer games alot, and have trouble keeping track of who requested to join first, I think a !queue would be an excellent addition to deepbot.

Thanks.

Question for the streamers .... how many active simultaneous queues would you want open?
Is a Max of 3 sufficient?

3 sounds fine to me.

I'm loving this feature and have used it a good 8 hours and have only a few issues.

- the "Num" column always displays 1 no matter how many people I have in queue. What is this meant to display?

- I would like to see the ability to remove on users in the queue by simply right clicking and choosing remove. This is good for people that have left the stream but are still queued. Drawing them is kinda meh if they aren't there and clutters up chat.

- In addition to removing could we see drag and drop functionality for spot re-ordering. Or at least the same type of menu options that exists in the playlist for moving people around. This would be good if someone wants to remain in queue but is busy for the next match.

- Is it possible to get some sorts of text notification that goes out to chat letting them know that they successfully queued up and their current rank in queue?

It'd be awesome if we could also implement the point system with this as well in a fashion that works similar to the raffle system.

For example, I could "open the queue" and people can spend points to add their name to the list. Once the list hits a certain number of entrants (a number that should be able to be set by the streamer) it will automatically close the entry. It could show me a list of the names inside the Deep Bot program, and also have commands such as !currentplayer !nextplayer and !playerlist so that users in the chat can see.

I play games with viewers a LOT and I would love to have a feature such as this

Just loaded up Deep Bot and applied the update. This looks incredible! Haven't played with it yet as I have to run to work, but this seems fantastic at a glance. Excellent job!
