when I add someone as a twitch VIP it removes them from the chat in the bot and does not award them points.

Seconded. This is kind of a huge issue, I am curious when this issue will be fixed along with removing Spotify (since it doesn't work and just crashes the app). Been a while since the last patch...

+1, this issue is affecting my channel as well. I've had to disable VIP Roles temporarily.
