As you're a bit familiar with, Experts, there is a Chrome extension called "Untamed Now Playing" or UPN. It can 'integrate' with Nightbot and share song information. It supports a number of applications including as last.fm, Pandora, YouTube, and others (here is the full list of supported sites). This is what you see when you click on the extension in Chrome:

You fill that out properly, then you use Nightbot's variable command for UNP: !addcom !song $(unp default) in your channel. What we've discovered is that UNP does not work for YouTube playlists. If you have a playlist of 20 songs, no matter which song you are listening to, UNP will only relay the first song of that playlist to Nightbot. This is a bug, but the developer, untamed, doesn't seem to be working on fixes any further.

This is where DeepBot comes in.  :)
I think it would be absolutely terrific if you could add a feature like this to DeepBot. Many streamers use YouTube playlists and Spotify to listen to music, UNP does not support either of those. Of course you could use features of the broadcasting software to show a small part where the song info is on YouTube, for example. But people having the convenience of typing !song and getting that information right away is very desirable.

If this is something you're working on, that'd be great to hear. Otherwise, I'd really like to see this become a feature.

Help/Support / Question - DeepBot and the broadcaster's privacy
« on: November 22, 2013, 10:35:41 AM »
I couldn't decide on the most appropriate forum for this, since it is a question about a feature, but not a request, nor a bug, nor feedback.
My question is: Can someone exploit something about DeepBot and get ahold of your IP address? (it is hosted locally)
There was recently a person in chat who kept posting the broadcaster's IP address, and the broadcaster is very careful when it comes to online security. The only other 'possible' loop-hole was that this person was logged into Ventrilo at the time as well. No Skype, no chat windows, no recent visits to sites linked in chat (malicious types), just Ventrilo, Steam, OBS, and DeepBot.
Thank you for addressing this ExpertsOnline.

Closed Beta Applications / Re: Closed Beta Applications Phase 2 - Now Open
« on: November 09, 2013, 08:51:11 AM »
I am, FYI, applying on behalf of another streamer. She's not very tech savvy, but can be walked through this. She made it through Modbot with Izl! After talking to Izl, I have a pretty good understanding of how to get DeepBot up and running properly. If this application is accepted, it would probably be best to arrange a time when hunnyd3w and I are present.

Where did you hear about DeepBot from?
Izlsnizzt sent me!  :D

Your stream name?
www.twitch.tv/hunnyd3w

No

Average number of users on your channel?
Generally around 80 - 100, though have seen 300+ at times. Also have been raided several times, so a quick influx of over 100 users at times.
