Is anybody running Windows 10 still having problems?

Download/Install/Repair both x86 (32-Bit) and x64 (64-bit) versions of Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio:

Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 4

Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013

Then try using the .NET Framework Cleanup Tool (This will remove all version of .NET Framework so you can clean install the latest .NET Framework. Source: Here):

.NET Cleanup Tool

Then Install .NET Framework 4.6.1 (Windows 10):

.NET Framework 4.6.1

Ran that cleanup tool, rebooted, tried installing the .NET Framework and

".NET Framework 4.6.1 or a later update is already installed on this computer."

Installed and repaired x86 and x64 versions of Microsoft Visual C++, rebooted my PC, reinstalled Deepbot. Still crashing on startup.

Can you post the errorlog.txt?

I can't find an error log. Would it be in C:\DeepBot - Twitch Streamer Assistant\logs? I think the program crashes before it generates an error log because I don't get the prompt saying that it created one - just a Windows prompt saying "DeepBot has stopped working".

Try reinstalling .NET Framework 4.5.2, or 4.6.1 (If on windows 10)
And try installing this one: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784

I attempted to reinstall the .NET Framework but I got a prompt telling me I had a current or newer version. I did some digging and found this in the help files:

"In Windows 8 and above, the .NET Framework is an operating system component and cannot be independently uninstalled"

So I'm not sure how to go about reinstalling that.

I also downloaded the Redistributables you linked, tried repairing the installed ones. Still had Deepbot crash. Then tried uninstalling and re-installing them, and still have the crash. Still no error log.

There have been a few Deepbot releases since this post was made. So what is the "companion app that will be made available when the next Deepbot update is released."? Is it out?

Help/Support / Triggering scene switches in OBS Studio with Commands
« on: July 13, 2016, 04:18:39 PM »
Hey Guys,

So I'm interested in making the switch to OBS Studio, but the only thing holding me back is that OBS Remote does not seem to support OBS Studio yet. OBS Remote allows me to use Deepbot commands to drive scene switches in OBS Classic. Does anybody know if there is a way to do this with Deepbot and OBS Studio?

Thanks,
Brett

Help/Support / Re: Disable !songrequest output in chat?
« on: April 29, 2016, 12:08:44 PM »
Sorry, I probably worded it weird. I have song requests enabled because I'm using it for certain commands. But I don't allow viewers to request songs. Basically I want to disable Deepbot from announcing when a song is added to the playlist in chat since it's always adding the same ones anyway.

Help/Support / Disable !songrequest output in chat?
« on: April 28, 2016, 03:35:50 PM »
Hi,

Is there any way to disable the bot from confirming whenever a song is added/removed from the !songrequest playlist in chat?

I don't have song requests allowed in my channel for viewers, but I have some commands that use the song request feature to trigger music and then remove it from the playlist so the command can be reused. It's annoying having the bot repeatedly saying the songs are being added and removed every time the cmd is used.

Thanks!

Bug Reports / @cost@ in "Insuffucient Points Message" field
« on: January 31, 2016, 08:37:05 AM »
The @cost@ variable does not seem to work in the Insufficient Points Message field in the Command Editor. However @pointsname@ (haven't tested any others) does work.

Help/Support / Custom Join Message cooldown?
« on: January 30, 2016, 06:55:02 PM »
Hi there,

Is there or will there be a way to set a cooldown timer on Custom Join Messages? I have a few set up in my channel right now but they go off a lot because people tend to filter in and out of the channel. It'd be nice to make it so it is only activated once per day or something.

Thanks, love the software!
