I recently came across an issue with my deepbot program, and Jwhite8559 was scoping the deepbot support chat when he seen my msg.

He came into my stream, patiently waited for me to die repeatedly in Squad, then I hooked up with him on TeamViewer and he fixed my problem.

He said he was just freelancing, trying to help out to maybe get on the support team for DeepBot. I'd have to say I think this guy should be on the team.

He took an hour out of his streaming day to come help out a fellow streamer, for nothing.

I thank him for his help.

UPDATE - Hello again!

Recently I have been searching and searching for ways to fix this and if the fix could not had been easier I don't know what I would of done.

OK THE FIX here is Simple... and so.. Stupid really.

Right Click on Desktop
Personalize
Change Windows Theme
Select Default Areo Windows Theme
Restart Computer
Launch DeepBot,  (It might crash once more, but the reason could be because it is working to run on this new theme.)

Wow.. if life was this easy.

My issue seems to be resolved.. its been a great few days of no crash @ all. Constant run time. I've had the program up for 4 days now, not one problem.

Thanks guys for your time. Like I said.. I will be fully promoting DeepBot to others, bcuz this program is by far the best streamer utility yet. I will also Donate again!

Thank You Dante for your help! I looked into that URL, then I looked into a few other programs that are linked with the same problem. I am trying to find a way to fix it, however this could be because I previously had unlocked my windows theme manager so I can use a "custom" theme with Rainmeter. However I do not use this theme while streaming.. its just more for looks.

I found that changing my theme to default, and using minimal graphics for themes, such as a gamebooster would do. It helped the program, (or at least I like to think it helped) stay up and online longer. It still crashed, but not as often.

If this problem is common though, it might not of been because of my "custom" theme. I thank you and Experts for your support. I am referring a few of my streaming buds to look into DeepBot and I encouraged them to donate and apply. I will monitor this thread daily and await for a possible fix. If not then w/e I still got one badass Loyalty Program to share with my stream, so what if I have to reboot it. xD

Feature Requests / Trivia

We enjoy the games that come with DeepBot par say, Bankheist.

I currently use an IRC generated Trivia Bot, and let's just say its a pain to get along with, always having to type the correct punctuation and capital letters. Sometimes the viewers give the correct answer and it won't recognize they got the correct answer just a capital letter was off..

I think DeepBot could help make Trivia a lot better by rewarding correct answers, (even if they are mis-spelled) with points.

The harder the question, the greater the reward or the reward could be for winning a round, and every round is 10 questions. I'm sure there are plenty of scripts out there to use for a Trivia Game.

I think having different themes would be great as well, like mine has Family Guy, Simpsons, General IQ, Math.. the list goes on. Just depends on how many scripts I would like to install.

It's just an Idea, probably one someone already suggested.

or Maybe not!? Let me know what you all think.

Help/Support / DeepBot Crashing Often

Hello, first off let me tell you.. My show has a lot of fun using the DeepBot Program, it has influenced my chatroom to become more active, and has drawn in a lot more viewers because of having it.

My problem is, Deepbot is failing quite often. It crashes a lot, usually after 4hrs or so of use, or after I change a game name or such within the program.

I often leave Deepbot open when I am offline and offer people 1 point every 2 minutes while I'm offline, unfortunately Deepbot usually fails by the time I wake back up, resulting in a crash and myself trying to re-emburse most of the viewers whom stayed in while I was offline. I am just wondering if this is a common reoccuring factor with this program since it still is in Beta.

I have no problem restarting Deepbot after it crashes.. although after 5 hours of it crashing and me waking up to it crashed. It is quite the challenge to trust everyone in the room to know if they were in there the entire time.

I hope this is a quick fix!? Thanks!!

- Edit in - Please note that I run Deepbot in Administrator at all times, and it still results in the crash.

Where did you hear about DeepBot from? - I've been interested since the first Closed Beta, seen it on a stream.. can't remember whos'.

Your stream name? - DopeyZero9

Twitch bot account name? - Dz9Bank

Your streaming schedule? - Mon - Sat - 8pm to 4am- Sometimes 24-36hr streams. Sundays I try to take off, but I usually stream then too.

Is your stream partnered with Twitch? - Not currently but that's the ultimate goal, hopefully Deepbot can help bring the publicity!

Average number of users on your channel? - I usually have around 20-50 people watching, sometimes it gets crazy & I get into the 100s.

Do you need to migrate an existing points system over to DeepBot? If yes, please specify which Bot you are currently using. - I just tried to use Modbot, but omg its soo plain compared to Deepbot, I just wasn't happy with it.. I don't need to migrate points because the system was running, but not used.
