Help/Support / Being charged twice monthly.
« on: June 16, 2017, 12:46:50 PM »
It appears I am being charged twice every month, 2 separate 5$ charges though I only have a single account registered?

Last year I was only being charged a single monthly fee, according to my PayPal statement. But starting January, its been a double charge, 2 transaction IDs and all per. Not sure what I need to provide as far as proof, hoping it's a simple lookup for my account and being able to see this happening.

Hopefully some sort of reimbursement here as well for 6 months worth of double charges.

Help/Support / Text Slideshow
« on: May 16, 2017, 02:44:13 AM »
Using OBS.

I know this is not a native function to OBS Studio, despite the glaringly obvious benefits and utility it would provide a large number of people...

Anyways, does anyone have any ideas on a work around?

I've started streaming some games that don't have a lot of free screen real estate so I'd absolutely love to save what I have left by condensing "newestfollower, top donor, recent donor, donation goals" and etc into one single small slideshow area.

I thought about trying CSS on a BrowserSource but apparently it isn't possible for CSS to read .txt files?

Seems like a massive endeavor but I imagine that you could continuously run a large chain of @exec@ commands with timers to cycle through all of the text sources you wanted... would that be possible? Maybe there's an easier way if that is even possible in the first place?

Thanks for any and all help.

Cheers.

Help/Support / Proper @user@ Capitalization?
« on: February 01, 2017, 04:53:04 AM »
One of my only annoyances with this bot is the lack of native proper capitalization for people usernames in commands, and everywhere where they're displayed really.

To my surprise, someone linked me to some API that allowed usernames to be displayed properly when using @user@, something from ninetails. I've lost it though, was hoping someone had that API on them and could give me it again.

Just from a general test, I found that it worked in a basic command, but didn't seem to work within mini games or other applications. Could anyone tell me exactly where and when this API works properly and maybe why and why not in other places?

I like to understand things. :)

Help/Support / @if@ help.
« on: July 22, 2016, 11:56:22 AM »
Can this sequence compare user's VIP classes or is it only variables that you can input such as random or coinflip?

My particular application is something seemingly simple I'm just not sure how to approach it yet. Shoutout to Mitch619911 for helping me out a lot to get as far as I have thus far.

Or... if there is simply a way to prevent users from using a command due to their VIP class... like no Bronze/Silvers/Golds could use the !trimmed command in my channel, this would also work.

Quote
@if@[@viprank@||VIP Bronze||1||@if@[@viprank@||VIP Silver||2||@if@[@viprank@||VIP Gold||3]]]

Though, I feel as if the sequence above is incorrect for what I'm wanting to do. I think it's a good start to demonstrate just exactly what it is I'm trying to accomplish though.

So... this so far is putting a numerical value to the user who starts this command's VIP class. I then need it to compare to the other VIP class values. Then... I need it to run the promote command if it determines the user is below the value. Or if it determines they're at or above the value, run a message stating they're already at that class or higher, generic deny message.

Is this possible? I'm having an extremely hard time. I'll try to layout my thoughts so people can understand what I want.

Bronze = 1
Silver = 2
Gold = 3

trimmed = 1
gilded = 2
heraldic = 3

commands for self promoting in my channel with bot with the appropriate costs:

!trimmed
!gilded
!heraldic

the command my bot uses to promote user's who trigger the self promotion commands are:
!trimme
!gildme
!heraldicme

example of how I imagine it happening.

Quote
Twitchuser69: !trimmed

99_Moderating: Twitchuser69 is now a Trimmed Member!

The bot checked to see  Twitchuser69's VIP class, it determined they were a regular viewer. So it deducted the cost and promoted them.

Quote
Twitchuser69: !trimmed

99_Moderating: Twitchuser is already a Trimmed/Gilded/Heraldic Member!

The bot checked to see Twitchuser69's VIP class and found he was at or above rank 1, so instead of running the !trimme command it goes to the other @if@ variable, and states they're already at or above the rank.

Please send help. Drowning.

Current Stream Name: HelloHouseKeeping
Current Bot Name:

New Stream Name: Schultizzle
New Bot Name:

I've already changed my bot's name. Just in case there is any issues with it, it was previously Consuela_Bot and I changed it to 99_Moderating and wish for it to remain as such.

Thanks for your time!

You could put DeepBot in Dropbox to have it sync between everyone, but right now there is no way built into DeepBot.

I was hoping it'd be as simple as that, but it seems to easy to be true.

I was under the impression even if giving them the program and information, they'd not be able to use it? I obviously don't know, asking questions before trying anything. :p
I guess I'll give it a try.

So I've got a question that I tried searching for, but can't really... word properly to find the answers for?

I've got 2 other Authorized Broadcasters on my channel HelloHouseKeeping, with potentially 1 or 2 more in the future. We eventually will be living together and sharing a computer to do a 24/7 stream, much like StreamerHouse for those unfamiliar. However, in the meantime while we're not living together, it'd be nice if everyone had access to the same stream settings and bot as I do.

Is this possible? Is there any way, at all? Even if it requires them applying for a license, for this to work?

Obviously on my end, its no issue, I've got the bot setup and my OBS set for the notifications and etc that we like. But when anyone else streams, they won't have access to the same data without DeepBot.

I know we can transfer the OBS data and have that match up, this is primarily asking for joint access to DeepBot.

Name Changes / Re: Change Stream/Bot Name request.

I realize that I've made a mistake. You modified my bot to be Consuela, which is not something I have access to. I forgot it had to be a valid name that I have access to, so I need another change. I apologize.

Current Stream Name: HelloHouseKeeping
Current Bot Name: Consuela

New Stream Name: HelloHouseKeeping
New Bot Name: Consuela_Bot

Guide to changing your botname yourself: http://deepbot.deep.sg/forums/index.php?topic=3206.0

I gave that a try multiple times, I never get options to actually change a name though. Instructions are simple and clear, I can't be doing something wrong. After I connect and try to bring up my account, nothing comes up. Has never worked for me in the past, and doesn't now either. The picture is of Consuela_Bot, even though its not the one given rights for the bot, that is always the issue I have with this name changing method.

Also worth mentioning I can't access the original name I specified, Consuela, as its not an account I own. Which is why I need a name change manually again, I believe.

You have to login with your twitch stream name, not your bot name.

Looks like that's why nothing ever came up, I've always tried logging into the bot's account. Fixed, thanks.

1 - Where did you hear about DeepBot from?
- You can't find a popular streamer not using DeepBot anymore.

2 - Your stream name?
- TheHardCorps

3 - Twitch bot account name?(This needs to be a valid twitch account, other than your streamer account you own that the bot will connect to)
- HardCorpsBot

4 - Your streaming schedule? [Days/Approximate time]
- Monday through Friday: 8:00 PM - 2:00 AM
- Saturday: 7:00 PM - 12:00 AM
- Sunday: 6:00 PM - 2:00 AM
- Any days off my day job usually result in a 12 hour or longer stream, typically have 3 or 4 days off work a week.

5 - Is your stream partnered with Twitch?
- Negative.

6 - Average number of users on your channel?
- 5 to 10 typically. Need to migrate my viewers to this new channel.

7 - Do you need to migrate an existing points system over to DeepBot? If yes, please specify which Bot you are currently using.

- Negative.

- Donated 20.00 USD and already set up a monthly sub of 5.00 USD. Want to note TheHardCorps is a brand new channel that I wish to use DeepBot on, and I'm basing my numbers on my previous channel SaevioGaming. Hoping a bit higher of donation can help overlook the fact my new channel is freshly made with no current views or likes, as I'd like to start it off with an elaborate Bot. Thanks for your time and awesome work!

System Edit : Application Accepted. Install complete. Thanks for the support!
