Seems to be working now.  It should be stated though.  For those of us with big channels the reason to run a standalone application is so that we are not subject to our tools being DDOS attacked.  It is very important for the bot to be able to continue to function properly even if the site is under attack. 

I could see having some reduced functionality if the site is under attack.  But not starting at all.  Not good.

oesibua94 looks like we both have the same error.  I have updated .net and VB.  Also I have the latest windows updates done.  Patched yesterday and it worked fine then it said there was a patch available again this morning and I did patch.  Now I can not start it.

I am running windows 8.1  I updated the bot today and now I am unable to start it.  It crashes at loading users database.
