Feature Requests / Re: Public 'points' online
« on: July 10, 2015, 01:54:42 PM »
Wouldn't having the points show in a separate website also navigate the user away from your stream?  It seems any way to have the user check their points would require them to leave your stream, unless they do it in your chat.
Browsers, a separate tab will open

On mobile, it would require them to change the stream

Already something like this in the works. But you can also pull the information with the Deepbot API: https://github.com/DeepBot-API/client-websocket

This would require me to program the website myself. A good workaround, but I'm requesting this feature be added natively into deepbot.

You can set in the master settings so that the points can only be checked in the bots chat instead of yours.

That's a non-starter. Having people navigate away from your stream page is really bad practice for a streamer.

Feature Requests / Re: Customize location of highlight.log file
« on: July 02, 2015, 12:35:16 AM »
Couldn't you use dropbox? Or I think microsoft has a built in sync file system.
Deepbot does not allow you to set the location of where highlight.log is stored. Therefore, you cannot use dropbox without creating your own 'copy to dropbox' script. I am requesting that there be an option to change the location of where this file is saved.

Feature Requests / Customize location of highlight.log file

I love the highlight.log file, but would love to have the file location that is something customization. This would allow me to share it on dropbox, and have it sync to my editors.

The point system is great, unfortunately when there are hundreds/thousands of viewers there is a ton of spam with people checking their points. Having a way to externally view the points generated would be fantastic.

I realize this may be a huge ask.

Feature Requests / POLL: Disable Mini Games When Stream Goes Live Option
« on: February 02, 2015, 11:45:52 PM »
As the title suggests, it would be great if there was an option to turn on games when a stream goes live, and turn them back on when it goes offline.

Games create spam, and I usually manually turn it off. Having it happen automatically would be awesomesauce.

I also can see how this particular option could prove useful. I agree that the mini games themselves can cause an ungodly amount of spam if there are a lot of viewers are in the IRC chat. Another options for this would be to have the mini games playable only on the bot's channel. This would unload the spam to another channel and keep your main chat relatively clean from spam (Well, spam created by Deepbot itself anyway).

Feature Requests / POLL: Additional Points Functionality
« on: February 02, 2015, 11:44:52 PM »
Some suggestions that I would find very useful.

* Purge/Reset all user points. Even more valuable if this could be done on a scheduled basis to prevent point hording, and making it fair for new users. ie: Reset all points the first of every month.
* Points decay. Set a rate at which your points decay. An alternative to a reset. Have it so every X days, Y points are removed from user totals.
* Points cap. An alternative to the above. Put a cap on the points you can use.

A way to try and control the points economy? Very interesting suggestions. Poll Added, Topic Title Changed, Poll closes in 7 days

I would like to share the highlight log with my team. Having the ability to post it to a specific location would be nice. For example, I would set it to save to my dropbox folder. Alternatively, if deepbot hosted the file, that would be great too.

At the moment, I am resorting to copying it over via a script.

I've tried this a number of times, and unless I'm missing something, it appears that only the broadcast is able to issue the !highlight command. It does not function for mods, as stated in the changelog.

Feature Requests / Customizable Permissions
« on: December 31, 2014, 03:50:26 AM »
It would be great if there were customization permissions for commands. Namely, I'd like my mods to be able to update the game and title, however I'd like to control the points function. At the moment, it's all or nothing.

Feature Requests / Re: POLL: !highlight command

This would be great. However, I'd suggest that perhaps it should be !highlight <insert title> and only people in a particular control group should be allowed to do it: ie VIPs or Moderators, or a special group called highlighters. For big streams, using a simple file would be very problematic.
