Help/Support / Re: Quote cost

That won't make what I was going for with the command work. But if that's all that will work I may have to. or just have them hit themselves and a random user. okay thanks. :D

I've enabled and reenabled the quote system. I'll see if that works.

here's the permissions. It has still been functioning that even my mods have to pay to add quotes.

and yes i've tried two @randomuser@ but it just grabs the same random user for both.

Yes they are deepbot and twitch mods.

also a side note: Is it possible to have a command variable that selects a random user and than a different random user?

Help/Support / Quote cost
« on: August 18, 2017, 01:47:17 AM »
I'm a little confused, and this may be a silly problem but I need to ask if I'm just seeing it wrong or if there's another problem entirely. I set costs for adding quotes at different levels, in the list order it goes from viewer to mod, and I would expect mods to have top priority for what triggers but when I have the cost for quotes set for 0 for mods they're still charged the cost of a viewer to add da quote. i keep having to give them points back.

Does mod level not overrule this feature like it does for commands?

Bug Reports / Re: Host alert not showing

Always run deepbot as admin, and yes I have the latest update.

I'll screenshot it in a minute and edit it in. But everything was working 4 days ago, than 3 days ago without doing anything it just stopped.

Bug Reports / Host alert not showing
« on: March 22, 2017, 10:31:35 PM »
I have host alerts set to make a sound, and to say something in chat. Both are turned on, and neither of them are working. It's been a couple days that it's been doing this and I've never had a problem with it before.

I got a new computer and have been trying to install deepbot on the new computer. It would get to the C++ 2013 bit where it says it needs to restart the computer. Okay fine, restart the computer by clicking on the installers reset computer button.
Cool, great.
Deepbot installer opens back up immedietly. "please install deepbot"
Gets to the same exact spot and demands another restart.
Okay fine, I'll restart again, maybe its a slightly different file. It goes through this 6 or 7 times and every time it looks like the exact same file. Deepbot is not downloading in the slightest. So I just grabbed the files off my old computer and transfered them over. Now when I try to connect I'm getting the Subject title as an error message "something went wrong when connecting to twitch. please try again later."
After a couple hours of that I'm getting a little frustrated. I can't find anything else that possible could have gotten screwed up when I copied the files directly and it works on my old computer. And I can't just reinstall it because it wouldn't install in the first place for whatever reason. What the heck do I do? I'm paying for VIP and would like to USE what I am paying for.

Edit:
yes i've been resetting the OAuth passwords to see if that was just problem.

Help/Support / Re: how do i cancel my VIP?

This will remove it from Deepbot as well than? I don't need to notify somewhere on here? That is great to know, I feel bad having to stop even for a little while. It's a great bot.

Bug Reports / New Guessing Game
« on: November 05, 2015, 12:27:35 AM »
I've been testing the guessing game bot out in many various ways and I can't seem to get it to work.
Does it HAVE to be a number guessing game? Can it act as a trivia game? Is there a way for it to be activated in chat with a mod only command?

Feature Requests / Re: caster command and quote numbers
« on: May 08, 2015, 11:24:08 PM »
I'm thinking maybe @targetgame@ and @targettitle@ maybe for the custom commands to pull the title /game into the command.

As for the quote numbers. Is the only way to fill a quote that got accidentally deleted, to delete all above it and that re input them? It's all I've been able to figure out anyways. So just asking.

Feature Requests / caster command and quote numbers
« on: April 29, 2015, 03:02:05 PM »
I've got two seperate requests here of things I've enountered with deepbot where questions have arisen.

First: Caster Command
I was helping out a new user to Deepbot and they had a command in an old bot they used that would grab the title / game someone who hosted them was playing so they could do a shout out.
EX: Thank Shadami for the host, they were most recently collecting gold skulltulas in The legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Check them out at twitch.tv/shadami.

I'm not sure how this would work. Some kind of @target@ command is my best guess. And since i've seen interest for this type of command I figured I'd toss it your way.

Secondly: Quote numbers.
Sometimes quotes disappear. Or someone accidentaly deleted them. Or they need to be deleted because they were inappropriate or whatnot. Who knows. But than you just have an empty quote spot. It would be really cool if the next quote made would either replace the lowest quote slot that is empty. OR when we manually put in quotes, we have the option to put it as a certain number somehow.

I'm not a coder so dont' know how it would work. Again, just tossing a couple ideas your way. Appreciate your bot greatly and want to help where I can.

Feature Requests / Timed Commands
« on: April 28, 2015, 12:08:27 PM »
I don't find an appeal with the timed commands because all of them would be spit out all at once if I were to make them because there is only one timer option. If each individual command could have a separate  timer I think it would be a much better feature.

Feature Requests / Re: Bank Heist event duplication
« on: April 28, 2015, 12:02:57 PM »
I really like this idea. I had an error where I had to bring deepbot up on a second computer (somehow both computers stayed logged in and won't anymore) But while it was going on I had Plunder(my stream's bankheist) and the regular bankheist up. and my stream got a HUGE kick out of it.
I've been pondering the idea of seeing if I could get the second bot up again so I could have ship battles and have the currency on the second bot be cannonballs. (so commands wouldn't duplicate for everything but pretty much TOP 14 ect)
