Implemented / Raffle Filter Reset Each Raffle [ ChaosBlast777 ]
« on: October 02, 2013, 05:22:56 AM »
Maybe its just me, but I almost always forget to revert from filtering by All VIPs back to All users after I do a VIP-only raffle.

Do you think it would make sense to change it back to all users each time you close the raffle?  I don't know a lot of streamers that do VIP only raffles all that often, so I figured I'd see what you thought about it.

Kind of going along with this, if I make this mistake there is not a great way of refunding tickets to all my subs that entered before i caught the mistake so I end up having to do it manually.  If I mistakenly open a raffle for the wrong amount or wrong ticket cost, it would be nice to have an auto-refund button to give everyone their tickets back.

Just nitpicking at this point =D. Not a huge deal if you don't want to implement either of these just thoughts.

Bug Reports / Raffle "Win %"
« on: October 02, 2013, 05:16:55 AM »
I think your math is a bit off on this.  For instance, if two people enter, it says whoever gets picked has a 100% to win,

Likewise, if three people enter, it says whoever gets picked has a 50% chance to win.  Not a bid deal just figured I would let you know.  It looks like it calculates the % based on the remaining number of tickets or users after the draw, while it should take the pre-ticket/user amount.

Experts just let me know that there is a !vip command people can use to check their status =)

Implemented / Re-open Active Raffles [ ChaosBlast777 ]

In some cases, I do giveaways with multiple draws - sometimes this can take a while so it would be nice if it would be possible to re-open a raffle (at least for any new users)  I wouldn't want people who already have tickets in to be able to remove tickets, would just like for new people to be able to join if a giveaway has been going on for 30 mins or so.  The other option would just be to implement this only for keyword raffles if it is too difficult to allow new users to join but not allow people to take their tickets out.

An alternative would be to allow for a partial ticket refund when finished with a rafflle - such that if you didn't get drawn, you get a certain % of your tickets back (user-settable).

I wouldn't say either of these are super high priority, just things I've run into that would be neat to have =D

Hopefully this is not something that already exists, but it would be nice if there was a command that users could use to check their subscriber status (level, expiration date mainly)

Totally unrelated, it would also be nice to be able to search the user database / sort by battle tag.  I like that you can now sort by name =D awesome stuff!

Bug Reports / Re: Potential raffle issue

Aha, I see.  Like i said, I wasn't sure if it was intentional or not - I just wanted to make sure you knew =D  I can certainly get buy with one being active at a time - I think at this point I am just getting greedy =p

Bug Reports / Potential raffle issue
« on: September 18, 2013, 03:43:24 PM »
Not sure if this is intended or not, but earlier I opened a ticket raffle and a keyword raffle simultaneously.  When they are both open, only the currently selected one seems to populate (for instance if ticket raffle is currently selected then people who try and enter keyword raffle are unable to)

Ideally it would be nice if both could be active simultaneously and not need to be selected to populate.

I can see the use for this for streamers that are just getting started.  However, if you have lots of people coming and going that many messages being spammed could be annoying.  I'm not sure I would ever use something like that but interesting none the less.

Personally I think sorting users by name, points, and VIP expiry date are the most useful just for my own info.  This will definitely be nice when implemented.

Bug Reports / Two raffle potential issues
« on: September 17, 2013, 01:49:10 PM »
1.  I think this one is a bug, but the "All VIPs" raffle filter didn't seem to work on my keyword raffles.  I've tried a few times and non-VIPs were able to enter and win.

2.  I am unsure if this is a bug or not, but upon entering ticket raffles users are used to being able to see how many tickets they have entered in the raffle.  This is usually displayed in parenthesis next to their currrent token count.  However, it seems like some users are not getting this if they enter all of their tickets into the raffle.

For instance, if I have a raffle going for up to 10 tickets, and user A has only 7, if he puts all 7 in and does a !tokens check it will say 7 with no parenthesis.  User B has 7 and puts in six, and sees 1(6).  User C has 28 and puts in 10 and sees 18(10).  Whenever I see this happen, I check in the entries window and they are entered and everything, they just typically are worried they didn't get in if they don't see the parenthesis.

In any case, once again great work on everything!

Implemented / Chat Logger [ ChaosBlast777 ]

So to reiterate what everyone that else is saying, I am amazed at how awesome this bot is and how easy it makes the streamers life.  Seriously man, top notch work on your programming.  I'm having a ton of trouble coming up with features that you didn't implement!

One thing I thought of today after we were chatting is a neat feature that could be helpful.  In some cases, I find it very helpful to have chat logs that I can go back and read from the stream that day.  It would be AWESOME if you could figure out a way of implementing this, especially since you can't on twitch.  What I envision is just having your bot copy the chat logs into a text file so if I wanted to go read chat from a certain day I could find the logs from that day, open them up, and start reading!  This is especially helpful if there is a crash for some reason and there are raffle tickets that need to be refunded.

In any case, this functionality is obviously above and beyond what I need on a day to day basis from a bot - at this point it is just adding bells and whistles to an already amazing piece of software.  Thanks again for letting me beta test!

Hey ExpertsOnline!

First of all, I really like what I saw on Djdan's stream today.  Very impressive stuff you are doing here =).

Streamer Introductions / Hey all!
« on: September 06, 2013, 11:36:06 PM »
Hey guys, Chaosblast777 here.  Was told about the bot via Kiddsforever - looks pretty awesome!

In any case, I am a relatively new streamer - I've only been streaming Diablo 3 for about three weeks, but I am having a blast streaming.  The reason I stream is to give back to the community - many twitch D3 have helped me with giveaways and build advice so I feel like I owe it to the community to help others out as well!  Typically my streams consist of giveaways, viewer's choice runs, and other fun stuff.

Come hang out!
