Custom Notifications / Can someone explain to me the CSS codes.

I am new to deepbot and the streaming community and I really want to be able to be notified when someone donates to my stream, I dont know how the CSS codes work, where to put them, or how to make them. Knowledge of these things are much appreciated from anyone. I also want to make a donation popup but I dont know the best way to approach that, please help!
