Bug Reports / Crashing when trying to click on New Update Available
« on: April 01, 2016, 04:01:24 PM »
Running Deepbot, connected to Twitch, fully functional. When I try to apply a new update, I get a popup letting me know that Deepbot has crashed.

Error log:

What do you mean by "master settings?" I don't see that tab, and you cropped out the rest of the screen, so I have no idea where to find that option.

Help/Support / How do I use the new Whisper feature?

Basically, I'm not sure how to program my commands so they whisper the user. Can anyone provide some examples I can use to reverse engineer stuff?

Help/Support / Re: still waiting for help after two months...

As someone who works at an online help desk, I can tell you that even if you didn't get the help you wanted, swearing and being aggressive gets you put further down on the queue. You catch more flies with honey.

Feature Requests / Suggestions for Queue Options
« on: July 07, 2015, 03:30:55 AM »
I already made a request for editable queue text here: http://deepbot.deep.sg/forums/index.php?topic=4011.0

I'd like to expand on that. Here's what I'd like to see from the queue:

1) The editable text I suggested. It would make it easier to be able to include lobby info in the text that pops when you select Draw Viewer to cut down on spam.

2) The ability to remove users from queue manually. Seems like a no-brainer. Right now, if a user leaves and you need to remove them, you can't. The only way is to draw them, which creates confusion, or to push them to the bottom and make a mental note. This gets messy, and is counter-intuitive to the ease of use features that the bot provides.

3) The ability to save settings. A minor one, really. When I close a queue, DeepBot doesn't remember what I had my queue settings to, such as when I set up a custom queue command. It would save on setup time for a stream if it would save those queue settings for me, with a quick Reset button if needed.

4) The Draw View option when you right click on a user does not currently function. The big button above the queue works. Can this be fixed?

The queue system is the prime reason why I'm willing to shell out cash every month for this bot over another bot, so personally, I'd like to see the queue feature grow, as many of the best streams are interactive streams, and this could become a prime selling point for DeepBot if the feature set for queues became more robust. I'll add anything else here I can think of.

Help/Support / Re: Question about auto hosting
« on: July 07, 2015, 03:22:21 AM »
I can confirm that with a 10 minute offline switchover, people are seeing multiple host popups, which makes it look like I'm begging for attention.

Could we add an option for multiple checks? Like say, if I wanted to raise it manually? That way you could tailor it to whether you want instant content all the time at the cost of possible spam, or a more safe flow of streamed content but with possible delays to that content due to multiple API checks.

Thoughts?

Help/Support / Re: Host Notification

Mine started posting in chat the other day, so the functionality is there, it's just not tied to a toggle anymore. Which I wish it had :P

Regardless of the season, it looks like it's actually doing multiple /host commands when it even THINKS a user might be going offline. This is wrecking my rep a bit, as some streamers I host think I'm spamming them to get popups and attention.

What's the workaround for this?

Feature Requests / Re: Edittable Queue Text
« on: July 02, 2015, 07:50:14 AM »
Yeah. Especially for games like Monster Hunter, where I want to draw someone from the queue and let them know the lobby name and ID so they can join. Would also like the ability to remove the time they waited. From working in the service industry, I know not to let people know how long things took to happen, because they get a little upset once they're aware of the actual time, and demand better.

Is there a way for me to do this myself in CSS? It's pretty crucial functionality for the kind of interactive stream I run.

Bug Reports / User throttling?
« on: July 01, 2015, 02:37:24 AM »
For the example, we'll say there are five users in my channel. User 1 is a mod, if that makes a difference, but all commands being accessed are set permission to all viewers.

User 1 does too many !requestsong commands and Deepbot tells him to slow down. Other users 2-5 are able to still perform the command. Ten minutes later, everyone is doing !currency checks, user 1 has heard his songs, but now Deepbot is ignoring him and won't listen to ANY commands. Problem fixes it self about half an hour later.

1) Is Deepbot silently throttling the user for "spamming"?

2) Is this an intended feature? If so, can I mess with the settings on this?

3) Deepbot doesn't respond to incorrectly typed commands. Any way to get a log of this to troubleshoot?
