Help/Support / Is there a way for channel mods to access my deepbot?
« on: March 12, 2018, 01:37:22 AM »
Hey, wanted to know if there was a way for my mods to access deepbot to help run my chat when i'm streaming, I wanted to have deepbot open myself so I can do different bets/polls/minigames, but my mod have access to set chat rules etc as and when needed.
is this possible?

If not I think it would be a great feature to allow you to set specific followers to be mods on deepbot and allow them to somehow "log in" to deepbot to run it from where they are?

Help/Support / I made a command but it's stopped working :(
« on: January 22, 2018, 07:44:55 AM »
Hey all! I made a command for my channel called !clip which saves a timestamp of the stream into a notepad file in a twitch folder on my pc, this allows me to go back and clip things to use for youtube.

The command message is "Thanks @user@ for adding the clip! @ @uptime2@ @savelog@[C:\Users\Lee Streaming Pc\Desktop\Twitch clips\twitchclips.txt,@uptime2@ clipped by @user@]"

For some reason it does not work anymore, it just randomly stopped working, and also I'd like the stamp to have a date so I can go back to it in batches of 2-3 days rather than at the end of each stream.

How can I add this feature but more importantly why has it stopped working? I've tried changing the location and file name but nothing.

Help/Support / Deepbot !highlight feature
« on: November 10, 2017, 01:31:17 AM »
Hi all,
Looking to add a feature similar to !highlight but for all viewers not just mods.

I'd like to add !clip as a channel command, and want that command to reply
"Thanks for adding the clip (Username) @ (Time)"

and would like it to save the details to a clips.txt file in a folder on my desktop just saying
(time) clipped by (username)

How can I do this? I've heard there is a !highlights function already built in for mods but I want one for viewers.

Help/Support / Is there a way to give all new viewers currency?
« on: October 14, 2017, 11:38:00 PM »
Hey guys, one of the ways I have found to get new lurkers or first time viewers to stick around and follow the stream, is to immediately give them currency when they first join so they can immediately get involved in stream bets etc.
(I know they have joined due to the auto welcome message to new viewers)

Is there a way to set up the bot so that it just automatically gives all new viewers a set amount of currency without having to earn it?
I don't want people to bet ridiculous amounts and run out too quickly, so the amount they earn for watching the stream is not massively high, but i've found you either win or lose a follower in the first 60 seconds of them joining, so having the bot auto populate them say 200 currency, gives them the chance to get involved.

If this is a possibility, I have no clue how to do it, and I have to keep doing it manually, I did search for it but was not sure what search terms to specifically find a solution to this issue.

Forgive me if it's simple but I've had the bot less than 3 days and I'm still getting used to it.
thanks.  :-\

TLDR: I want deepbot to automatically give any first time viewers a set amount of currency as soon as they arrive on the stream to get them involved quickly, but not sure how.

Streamer Introductions / New streamer (Affiliated)
« on: October 14, 2017, 12:07:04 AM »
Hey dudes, The name is Lee and i'm from the UK.
Streaming under the name "SaltMajor" (you will see why within 10 minutes of watching me ;D) find me at www.twitch.tv/saltmajor
Just started streaming recently (5 streams in) and got my affiliate already which i'm quite proud of, Yesterday was the first stream with a sub button and got 3 subs on board. I'm currently getting the stream how I want it to look, and with Deepbot i'm making big progress on functionality of the stream, but I want you to come and give me tips, advice and suggestions. A streamer is NOTHING without his viewage.

What makes me, me?
- I'm a passionate gamer (I get salty)
- I love to talk with people and see what makes them tick (I rarely shut up)
- I love positivity and good energy from anywhere (I drink too much coffee)
- I don't sleep (I drink too much coffee)
- I like to think I can get on with anybody (Just love me please)
- I've been told I have an entertaining personality, and that streaming is a perfect fit for me. (I'll let you be the judge of all of this)

Games I play:
- Fortnite
- Pubg
- H1z1Kotk
- Fifa 18
- Cod ww2 when it's released
But again, I'm open to suggestions on what you want to see, happy to buy games if there is an appetite for it with the viewers.

I am looking for other streamers to play with, follow and potentially set up autohosts with, and really want to be able to give back to the community, i'm not a materialistic person, so for me giving back is as important as receiving, I've got loads of cool ideas lined up for the stream and I'd love for you all to be involved in the channel as we go, and we are growing fast.
I'll be streaming live in about 1 hour 30 mins (6.30pm UK time) through til about midnight.

Hit me up and tell me how bad I am at games twitch.tv/saltmajor

Help/Support / Betting system issue
« on: October 12, 2017, 10:14:47 PM »
Am I missing something or is there a way to add profit to winning bets?
So what I am looking to do is have a betting system when I play Battle Royale games where viewers can gamble on where I finish, I wanted to add for example, 5x profit if you bet on me winning and get it correct, 3x profit on top 10 etc etc.

At present the betting function works well, but if someone gets a bet correct, they don't make a profit, they just get their money back, which seems a bit pointless, hoping i've missed something here, because it would seem pointless for me to go and bet on a sport in the bookmakers, only to win and get the same money back!

Thanks for the hard work also, I'm new to deepbot but it's capability looks great from first glance!

Help/Support / Cannot get Request song to work!
« on: October 12, 2017, 10:05:19 PM »
Hey, Just got Deepbot and I'm already loving the capability of it, problem i'm having is the !requestsong command, I have enabled song requests on deepbot, but when I go on to twitch chat and type for example "!Requestsong https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qO7a-Q1HY1I" Literally nothing happens, no notification in twitch chat that it's been added, and no song appears in the playlist, am I missing something glaringly obvious? I've never used a bot system before so bare with me on this one!
P.s. I have tried changing the request command to no avail.

I'm also having an issue with the betting system but I will open up a seperate thread to help others when it's solved.

Thanks,
Lee
