Deepbot not connecting/User lost all hours
« on: July 02, 2014, 03:42:34 AM »
Hello,

This morning I tried connecting to nightbot and it was not working at all. When it decided to connect 3 hours later all of my viewers lost their points/hours. Alot of people lost over 50-100+ hours. Is there anyway this can be fixed?

By the sounds of it your database decided to corrupt itself. Don't worry this is a very easy thing to restore.

Backups exist in the following folders:
30min interval backups: backups/0/
6hr interval backups: backups/1/
24hr interval backups: backups/2/

To restore a backup:
Close DeepBot
Find the users.bin file with the appropriate timestamp that you want to restore from the backups\ folder and copy it
Paste the file in the main folder (where the original users.bin was)
Rename the backup file to users.bin (removing the timestamp)
Start DeepBot
