the follower notification area in config is not grayed out, can no longer change what sound is played when some one follows...

The notification system is an exclusive feature for VIP Streams.  Find out more here: http://deepbot.deep.sg/wiki/VIP+Streams

I can see your VIP expired on 29th July, hence why the features are greyed out.
