Total Viewers / Total Chatters Issue

My total Viewer number changes correctly,  but my total chatters will increase when a new chatter has come in but after they have left it does not remove their name... so by the end of my stream session there are a ton of chatters that aren't actually there which reduces interactive effectiveness.

Twitch has disabled the join/part notifications as a performance boost during E3.  There is nothing to do but wait.
