Streamer Messages (Auto Host)
« on: August 27, 2015, 04:06:37 AM »
Howdy,

Just set the bot up & am ready to head out, so I thought I would set up the auto host as well as one of the streamers I host is online right now.

It is passing the offline streamers & landing on the first active streamer: good
It posts a message to my chat channel-- Dipping_cabinet: Now hosting GreyleafGamer enjoy them while I am away. : good
It is not however, actually hosting them: bad

Also, do I need Deep Bot running on my end in order to auto host or can I shut my computer down?

Thanks very much!

You need to run DeepBot I order for it all to work, also make sure your logged in in streamer account.

Also, make sure your bot is an editor as well.

Go to Twitch.tv > Dashboard > Editing > Add your bot to the list.

Howdy,

Still not working...

Here is a picture showing my bot, Dipping_Cabinet, being set to an Editor:

Here is a picture showing Dipping_Cabinet trying to set GreyleafGamer as the person I will host (they are live) & I waited several minutes to be sure there wasn't some lag from Twitch:

It's not 100% perfect, due to twitch API. Sometimes it won't see someone is live, sometimes it will. Make sure you are running the bot as admin as well.

Howdy,

I am now running the bot as an admin on my computer, the bot does see someone is live & sends the message to my channel indicating I am hosting; plus the bot is an editor.

But I am not actually hosting them. DeepBot also thinks it has sent the command as in testing it a few times it tells me I have sent the maximum number of host commands I can in the past 30 minutes, but I can go to my channel & still execute them as Twitch has not received any.

Is there a log or file I can look at to see what DeepBot has actually sent?

Thank you

Try to repair/update the following:

.NET Framework 4.5.2: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=42642
Visual C++ Redistributable (x86/x64, don't worry about arm one): http://www.microsoft.com/en-sg/download/details.aspx?id=30679

Restart deepbot/computer after that, and try.
