Custom Denial Message for Disabled Commands (SongRequest, etc)
« on: October 08, 2015, 01:18:39 AM »
I often have viewers popping into my channel and attempting the !songrequest command. I don't use this feature as I like the in-game audio and I need to explain this when my bot doesn't respond to them. It would be nice to be able to set a custom message for my bot to output when someone attempts to use a disabled command like !songrequest, so I can explain that it is not and will not be enabled.

DeepBot uses !requestsong not !songrequest, maybe you can setup a custom command for !songrequest and say you don't do song request.

I think he was just providing an example, but this would actually fit with an already existing feature request...

Thanks wolfie, if that request is implemented it should solve my problem. I can modify the function of requestsong to whisper the user a message about why my stream doesn't use that feature. I upvoted the issue.
