Animated alerts
« on: October 06, 2015, 11:04:34 AM »
Hi,
I'm currently searching for a way to implement animated alerts. While the animation itself is fairly easy to do, the technical side is quite a challenge.
What I want to do is something like this (The Mega Man animation at 0:35):

So, the username has to be revealed later, that's why a simple GIF doesn't cut it.
Is this possible with Deepbot, and maybe a css-frame animation?

Thanks in advance

Well you can use .gifs. But you can do almost anything with CSS, just takes time and research on how to do it. I personally don't do animations. :/

Yeah, as I said, GIFs alone didn't get the job done here, I suppose.
Is there a way to delay the text with the username, so that the animation starts, and the username is not shown at the beginning?

Yeah, I have seen some users do it, just don't know how to do it myself.
