Play games that are not big. Don't stream league of legends and expect to get 100 viewers. Stream something small to start out (I grew my channel from WarFrame). It seems to come down to you are either good at a game or funny/entertaining. Getting viewers is not that easy, it will take time and patience. I have streamed for 2+ years and have an average of 10 viewers, some days it can go way up (had 100 one night), others I get maybe 1-2 viewers. But I stream for fun, not a job.
