How to use Song Request System?
« on: March 22, 2014, 02:15:47 PM »
I am not sure how to use the song request system. I tried typing
 !songrequest (youtube ID)
but nothing happens? Also, if I add a song in the music tab, I dont know how to play the song in the little player.

Hi.

To begin with, did you enable the song request feature in the bot? If you haven't, check the "Enable Song Requests" found in the Music tab. With that enabled you should then be able to request a song from Twitch chat using either the full Youtube link or the random characters after the "v=". For example to play http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uFj60cLeGJI (Which is Tetris - Theme 'B' Acapella by Smooth McGroove) you would do the following

Code: [Select]
!requestsong http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uFj60cLeGJIOR
Code: [Select]
!requestsong uFj60cLeGJI
With that, the music should automatically begin playing from within the interface. If it doesn't, the next step should fix that

Assuming you already know how to add a song from the interface to get it to begin playing (Again, if it automatically doesn't) press the "play" button that is found under where the video is located. The following screenshot should show you what it should look like after you've done this.

Hope this helps,
