DeepBot gives raffle tickets to users not in stream.
« on: March 27, 2014, 10:42:27 AM »
Hey,

So I ran DeepBot yesterday for the first time and everything went well. Since the stream, I have gotten messages today from a few members who turned off their computer when they went to bed, and have re-entered my stream again with 30+ tickets.

Has this issue been encountered before? If so what course of action can I take to rectify it.

Thank you

DeepBot relies on Twitch services to get the user list in chat. When there are issues with these chat services, it is possible that when users leave, the message is not broadcasted and hence the bot believes they are still connected to chat.

Unfortunately, there is not much that can be done on my end to resolve this. We need to wait for twitch to close the gap on the accuracy and stability of such services.

That's fine, I will pass the explanation on to those who ask about it! :) Thanks!
