Advanced Command Help
« on: April 25, 2017, 04:45:28 PM »
So i want to make a command that will pretty much check if the user has already ran the command for example if i did !lurk it would say that @user is now lurking. Then if i did the !lurk command again it would say @user@ has came out of lurking. I have been told this is possible before as i did make a post about it once before

Probably use @savefile@ and @readfile@.

Would probably be !lurk Command Message: @if@[@readfile@[Lurk\@user@.txt]||lurk||@user@ has came out of lurking. @savefile@[Lurk\@user@.txt,notlurking]||@user@ is now lurking. @savefile@[Lurk\@user@.txt,lurk]]

You would create a folder in your deepbot folder > custom logs folder > Create folder named "Lurk" (folder is case sensitive, so if you change the command or folder name, you need to make sure it matches up both in command and in the custom logs folder.)
