Limiting the use of the !<coins> command.
« on: June 09, 2014, 05:59:17 AM »
I know there's a spam cooldown option for commands you create but there doesn't seem to be one for the !<coins> command.

Is there a way to limit the use of the !<coin> command per user so people can only check their coins every 5-10minutes?

If not, then it may be a good idea to add something like this to limit the spam created by the bot per user. In theory; making it easier for the streamer to communicate with their viewers.

To change the cooldown on the points command click the cog icon in the top right corner of the config tab. On the page that opens you can then proceed to change the amount of seconds the command can be used.

This is on a per user basis, so 5 different people checking their points will still cause the bot to show their points but it will stop the same person repeatedly checking their points. You also have another option if users checking points in clogging up the chat. In the same page that opens up you can tick "Only allow points to be checked on bot chat". This option will make it so viewers will only be able to check their current points on your bots twitch chat.
