Songrequest songs are not available in your country
« on: June 05, 2014, 04:37:16 AM »
Hey there. i have the problem that i live in Germany -.-. We got many restrictions for Youtube Music Videos. So pretty much every 2nd Video is not available in my country. do i have any chance to fix this? my firefox / chrome uses a "plugin" which uses a proxy or something to avoid it.

Thanks in advance

Try launching the external player in your browser with the plugins.
DeepBot should be able to connect to the browser and play songs through that.

Just touching on this-- when they're unavaliable in your country it often leads to the bot being stuck trying to play the song. It should maybe scan for those words and skip that song.

Can you provide a youtube ID that does not work in your country.
Also could you load the below link with that youtube ID and paste the result into pastebin and reply back?
http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/videos/YouTubeID?alt=json

This would allow me to try and see if I can identify songs not available. Currently all songs are played on my end so its harder to debug.

Thanks,

Yea we have this issue on Streamerhouse as well, the bot jams up on certain songs and cant do anything but manually/physically redo it. Is there a possibility to enable/disable the song part through commands perhaps or something? Thanks for allt he work on this man!
