Partnership With TwitchAlerts?
« on: January 28, 2015, 06:37:48 AM »
I'm just spitballing here, but as a streamer who is currently using both systems on my channel, I feel like these two teams would be really good for eachother.

TwitchAlerts bringing the credit systems and other systems combining with the bot functionality that the Deepbot team can bring in. You both need help with server costs and maintaining your infastructure so combining efforts could be a win-win.

I would offer to keep paying the $5 a month for the VIP status and have something from both parties to offer for that, be it more functionality or free sponsering of users.

i use twitchalerts and i like it a lot, specially the obs alerts (which i believe are very easy to make and cool at looking at) and the app is very amazing, with a lot of txt files to grab info from.

one thing i would really love is to have donations sent to me weekly or monthly , in this way i don't have to pay to paypal the transaction fees for 1 dollar donation.

i asked to DP staff if they could make something like that, but that would a huge amount of work and resources for them, since they are already have an amazing bot to work on.

having both team working together, they could create more awesome things, in less time, and i would be glad to pay a % to TA and 5$ to DP in anyway.
so i'm actually positive if they , at least , can discuss about it.

The way twitch alerts is set up (Using Basic HTML, databases to check for new followers/donations, and basic scriptings) would be very simple for DeepBot to replicate on their own. I made my own bot awhile back that is synced with my website databases, and creating an alert system took a day or two at most. It's super simple.

I would like Deepbot to be able to pick up new donations from the TwitchAlerts database (or whatever donation service you use) and be able to automatically reward the account with VIP or more points with the same username. They don't necessarily have to partner up -- just simply integrate a bit of support for third-party donation website such as TwitchAlerts and Streamtip. It's a bit tedious to manually give people VIP for donating when I use something else.
