Sound not playing on donation/follower notifications.

Hi guys!

I've just set up follower/donation notifications through deepbot and unfortunately the sound isn't playing for them, the weird thing is they do play about 5% of the time but the rest of the time the notification pops up with no sound at all.

Maybe I'm doing something dumb, any advice? I've just set the sound file as an MP3 file that I cut down.

You are not getting any errorlog or crashlog, right?

I've tried to set up the IPN like in the guide and checked on the PayPal support site but it seems to have changed since this guide was made.

All I can do is go into the "API Access" settings and select "Grant API Permissons" but then it asks for the "API Username"...

I dont think I'm getting any crashlogs no.

No you do the UTF-8 Part. If that is already UTF-8, then you do the IPN part. And there are two ways to do it, depending on your paypal account.

Okay so I've done both the UTF and IPn thing but no change.

Even when I press "Preview" in the follower notification/donation notification it displays the CLR popup on stream but plays no sound....

Then it may be the sound file itself. Make sure it is reading from the correct file path. Also it seems .wav works better.

Hey dude,

Changed them to Wav, no change, tried 10+ sound files which work in any other software, still doesnt work. I'm really stumped by this. =/

Can you take a screenshot of your donation notification settings from the config tab of deepbot?

Hey mate, just tested again this afternoon and its not fixed itself... Really bizarre, I'll test it on my stream today but hopefully it's okay now!
