« on: March 02, 2017, 06:59:29 AM »
Hey Guys,

if im trying to connect with my new Twitch Account to the Deepbot Api its still trying to connect to my old Account... waited at least 8 hrs..

Is there a way to delete the existing connections ?

So if a Sub is renaming him/herself the Person cant use the Bot in our Discord.

Not sure what you mean. If using the Deepbot API, make sure your secret is correct in connecting to the API. You can even refresh it and correct it.

Did the Sub try re-linking their twitch account to their Discord account? Then type !link in your discord?

Yes...

So im trying to clear it out by step by step:

1. User Connected with !link_discord his old Twitch Account to his Discord Account
2. User Renamed himself on Twitch
3. The Api to connect himself to discord is only working with his old name and it is impossible to change
4. with the New Update the Command !renameuser wont transfer the Discord connection

I hope that makes it a little bit more clear.. So i need a method to !unlink the Accounts which are connected is there a solution for it ?

See if redoing https://api.deepbot.tv/auth/discord/linktwitch helps. As it pulls from that to make sure the right twitch account is being linked to the right discord account it might require redoing that.

From there try redoing the !link. Hopefully that helps
