« on: June 16, 2014, 03:23:29 PM »
is there a way to customize the chat text that comes up when typing !requestsong to get the details on how to request a song. i don't use the words VIP or silver/gold etc...

Currently, i'm afraid not. The text will changing depending on the amount of points you set to be required by each different user group but even if you set them all to the same points, it will still display the message in the same format. Although by the sounds of it you don't want to, I would recommend attempting to incorporate the concept of VIP to viewers you feel have been most loyal to you.

It's small but in a grand sense it shows you have appreciation for them continuing to come back to watch you stream. You can do this by;

  • Navigate to the "User Database" tab
  • Right click a user you want to change the class of and then click "Edit user"
  • Tick the "VIP" box then set which level of VIP you want to set them to, you can edit the expiry date by changing the date

oh i currently do use the vip system... i just don't use it to the effect of calling them vips... all our patreon subs get
vip gold status... which earn 2x the points...

i don't really use any other vip teirs though... so when people type song request they are confused by the literal "VIP" and the levels of them
