Hi,

I've been searching the forums about this matter, but couldn't find anything...

Is there a planned Mac-version of Deep Bot? If so, any timetable on it?
I know i can run windowsapps on my mac with a little help from other applications such as wine, but i really would prefer a dmg install-file, since.. well - me no likey windows :P

From what I understand, this is hard-coded to use windows. There are methods you have mentioned to get it to run on a Mac but I don't believe there are currently any plans to get it to run on a Mac. This would require a rewrite much like the one OBS currently has going on.

(Please Note: I only have basic knowledge of programming so what I have said should be taken with a pinch of salt regarding the rewrite)

Mac support would require an entire re-code of DeepBot, and possible a whole new infrastructure.  We want to finish DeepBot and make it as complete as it can be before we begin to expand to other systems.  So no, there is currently no plans on Mac support.
