Modification for !requestsong, similar to Phantombot
« on: August 02, 2014, 08:47:29 AM »
After switching from Phantombot to DeepBot, a few of my viewers were upset that the !requestsong command didn't have the convenience it once had. With Phantombot, you could use the youtube link much like DeepBot, or you could also enter the name of the video you were looking for and it would pick that. For example, !requestsong carry on my wayward son. Sometimes it could mess up, sure, but some users liked the convenience (and mobile users loved being able to not have to switch out of their app).

I think it'd be a pretty nice feature to have for DeepBot, if just for only convenience sake.

i'd like it to be updated so that everyone that comes into your room doesn't get confused.
deep does !requestsong while all other bots do !songrequest.
neither myself or viewers could figure it out till i looked it up.. since they all are the same format
