Follower alerts not working after update?

Follow Alerts used to work for me and the bot would thank users for following the stream and award points

After the most recent update its grayed out and that no longer works. Any reason for that or a fix?

You must be a VIP in order to use this, or else it is grayed out.  You can see if you are VIP by looking at the top of the window and seeing if there is a Star or not.  You can look at the full list of VIP features here: http://deepbot.deep.sg/wiki/VIP+Streams&structure=Index&page_ref_id=14.
