Follower count

Is there a way to get a live follower count in deep bot?

Thanks

This is indeed possible. Now I'm assuming you want the live follow count to be displayed in your stream so the following instructions will apply to that. If you want a live follow count to have a glance at I recommend using TeeBoard to get that information. Anyway;

Config Tab -> Notification Options (In the Follow Notification Box)

From the box that opens look towards Display Format and change it so it reads @current@. This will make it so the current number will only be displayed in the text file. You can change the current number to whatever you want but if you want it to be a follow count during the stream you're currently in I recommend resetting the counter to 0 each time you stream as this value will persist between loads.

Now to get it in your stream navigate to where you installed Deepbot and go to the OBS folder. You will need to use the "FollowerTarget.txt" in your favourite streaming program.

Thanks for your help!

I was after just a live count I can look at then adjust my info for viewers but...

If I could get it done automatically that would be amazing!

So how do I get obs to read the .txt and display/update the information automatically?

Thanks again

Simply adding the file using a Text Source in OBS will be enough to make it automatically keep checking and updating the text on stream. Not sure how often this check is performed but it seems like then 5 seconds anyway.

Again, remember to manually reset the counter every time you stream if you want the number of followers that stream. That's pretty much the hardest part of the whole process :)
