Calling quotes using names rather than ID?
« on: January 27, 2015, 11:04:42 PM »
My viewers have put in a load of quotes that they wish to call on by name. Currently !quote Jamie (a name of one of the quotes) just calls a random quote.

While !quote 4 calls quote #4. Is there a way to have quotes called this way using the name rather than the number?

Have you tried doing a custom command? !qoute repent = !qoute 1

That would not work because the !quote command from the quote system would take priority over the !quote from the custom command.  You could do something like this, but you couldn't have to have a space, and it would have to be something other than !quote.
